Colobard was a medieval monk and theologian. He is best known for his work, De Colubrario, which is a study of snakes. Colobard was also an accomplished musician and composer. He wrote a number of hymns and songs, including the popular Christmas carol, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”. Colobard was a devout Catholic and spent much of his life teaching and preaching. He is considered to be one of the most important theologians of the Middle Ages. Colobard’s work has been studied and reprinted numerous times, and his teachings continue to inspire and influence people today.
